In the June 17th edition of the Janesville Gazette, the "Department of Natural Resources plant ecologists warns about Poison Hemlock and Wild Parsnip are becoming more common along roadways." "Poison Hemlock contains neurotoxins that can be absorbed through the skin. Wild Parsnip sap, meanwhile, can cause severe rashes, blisters and discoloration." 'They say the best way to control these plants is to mowing them during their flowering stage."
